Scope of Work: ABS provided full MEP design for the complete gut renovation of a previous restaurant space into the “all-day cafe” shown here. The building was not sprinklered, but due to having a full kitchen in the cellar, a new sprinkler service was brought into the building and sprinkler coverage was provided throughout. As we’ve encountered numerous times since, the existing gas service and metering in the building was problematic and non-compliant before our project proceeded, however, the service was replaced and upgraded for us by the building which aided the budget and schedule.
